Twin buckle adjustment
Two metal prongs shift across punched eyelets on the parallel bands. This lets you tighten or widen each strap independently over higher insteps or broader feet, holding the slide in place as children walk.
Natural cork core
The footbed uses real cork that yields slowly to the sole over weeks of wear. A raised ridge sits beneath the toes, while the heel cup holds the back of the foot inside the rim.
Patterned EVA base
Beneath the cork slab, an EVA layer absorbs direct contact with stone, tarmac, and decking. The underside carries an etched tread pattern to help grip dry dirt and flat pavements.
Smooth strap care
The dark brown upper wipes down with warm water and mild soap when dust collects. Because the surface is smooth rather than napped, dry dirt lifts off without special brushes.
What we cut and last
Smooth brown straps secure the foot across two points over a moulded cork base. We scaled our workshop last down for younger feet, keeping the deep heel cup and the open toe open to the air. A damp cloth keeps the brown material clean after a day outside.
