How this pair is put together
Moulded cork core
Natural cork shapes under the sole as you walk, matching your foot over weeks of use. The surface stays firm while the arch ridge and heel cup steady each stride.
Smooth strap closure
Two broad bands cross the vamp, each secured by an adjustable metal tongue buckle. You can tighten or loosen the fit over the bridge of the foot whenever needed.
Open toe build
The broad front cutout leaves the toes free and lets air pass across the footbed. Stitching along the edges keeps the smooth upper material flat against the foot.
Lightweight EVA underside
We finish the base with a dense EVA layer cut with a shallow pattern for pavement and packed dirt paths. It wipes clean with a damp cloth after outdoor wear.
What we cut and last
Smooth uppers cross the foot with two wide bands on each slide. We shape these on our unisex last with a deep heel cup and an open toe box. You get two pairs built with adjustable buckles and a lightweight EVA base.
Caring for this upper
- Smooth leather: Wipe with a soft damp cloth, dry away from heat.
- Give the cork footbed a week of short wear so it takes the imprint of your heel.

Reading before you choose
Closed toe or open toe across the catalogue
Every shoe we build begins with the same moulded cork footbed, but the first choice at the bench is the front of the upper.
How the moulded cork footbed takes shape
Our workshop builds every shoe on one moulded cork footbed across the catalogue.
The wider last and buckle adjustment
A shoe takes its internal volume and width directly from the solid form we build it over.
Looking for a different foot?
Every pair on our shelf shares this footbed. Change the toe, the upper or the last and the rest stays the same.
