How this pair is put together

Brushed coffee suede

The dark brown suede has a soft nap that holds color evenly. Suede brushes out easily with a dry bristle brush to lift daily dirt and dust. Keep the leather dry to maintain the original surface texture over time.

Two metal prongs

Each strap carries its own buckle with multiple punch holes across the leather. You can tighten the forward strap over the toes while leaving the upper band looser across the instep, keeping the slide secure as you step.

Deep heel pocket

Our footbed is moulded with a deep hollow at the rear. The rim cups the heel to keep your foot centered over the cork core, preventing side slip while you walk on hard floors or pavements.

Patterned ground contact

A lightweight synthetic base is bonded beneath the cork midsole. Shallow grooves run across the bottom to add flexibility when the foot rolls forward, giving steady contact across smooth paths and flat outdoor ground.

What we cut and last

Coffee brown suede gives these double strap slides a deep, earthy tone. The two wide straps buckle independently across the foot, letting you set the grip over the instep and the ball. Underneath, our cork footbed is shaped with a defined arch contour and a cupped heel that softens with wear.

Caring for this upper

  • Suede: Brush dry with a bristle block, never wet the nap.
  • Give the cork footbed a week of short wear so it takes the imprint of your heel.

Reading before you choose

Closed toe or open toe across the catalogue

Every shoe we build begins with the same moulded cork footbed, but the first choice at the bench is the front of the upper.

How the moulded cork footbed takes shape

Our workshop builds every shoe on one moulded cork footbed across the catalogue.

The wider last and buckle adjustment

A shoe takes its internal volume and width directly from the solid form we build it over.
