The dark nap is dyed solid black right through the leather. Brush dry dirt off with a stiff bristle brush after wearing, or rub gently with a suede block if dust settles deep in the pile.
Two strap prong closures
Both straps carry their own buckle. You can set the strap near the ankle tighter to anchor the slide, or loosen the strap across the forefoot if your instep sits high.
Arch contour beneath the foot
The footbed is shaped from compressed cork with a raised rise through the arch. It warms with body heat and yields slowly over time, taking the imprint of your footprint as you walk.
Lightweight flat bottom sole
We bond a grooved synthetic sole directly to the base of the cork core. The shallow channels flex naturally through the step and bite into dry pavement or indoor tile.
What we cut and last
Black suede straps cross the top of the foot with two independent buckles for width. Our cork footbed holds a raised contour under the arch and cups the heel deep. The open toe keeps the build light, while the outsole underneath grips smooth stone and bare boards without slipping.
