How this pair is put together
Pale suede upper
We brush the light grey leather to a soft nap across the entire vamp. It takes on scuffs with honest character and cleans up well with a stiff bristle brush once dry.
Deep cup heel
The heel seat is cupped deep into the cork base to hold the back of the foot in position. A suede lining covers the whole surface from heel to toe.
Single prong fastener
A wide strap crosses the bridge with a sturdy metal pin closure. You can tighten or loosen the strap across several punched holes to seat the foot securely.
Thick ground sole
A firm layer of synthetic tread sits beneath the cork core to take the wear of hard ground. The shallow tread pattern handles paved paths and indoor floors alike.

What we cut and last
A pale grey suede clog built on our classic women last. The round toe box leaves room across the front, while the backless cut keeps the heel open. Underfoot, the moulded cork footbed yields slowly to your step as the weeks pass.
Caring for this upper
- Suede: Brush dry with a bristle block, never wet the nap.
- Give the cork footbed a week of short wear so it takes the imprint of your heel.

How the moulded cork footbed takes shape
Our workshop builds every shoe on one moulded cork footbed across the catalogue.
Caring for four uppers and cork
We build our footwear on a single moulded cork footbed across four distinct upper materials.
Closed toe or open toe across the catalogue
Every shoe we build begins with the same moulded cork footbed, but the first choice at the bench is the front of the upper.
Looking for a different foot?
Every pair on our shelf shares this footbed. Change the toe, the upper or the last and the rest stays the same.
