How this pair is put together
Ochre suede straps
The upper is cut from brushed suede in a warm yellow brown tone. It needs only an occasional dry brushing with a suede brush to raise the nap and clear street dust.
Double prong hardware
Each strap carries an independent metal buckle with multiple pin holes. You can cinch the lower strap close across the instep and leave the upper strap looser for easy stride.
Cupped cork base
Our footbed combines ground cork with a moulded shape featuring a raised arch ridge and a defined heel cradle. The cork beds down over time, taking the footprint of the wearer.
Ribbed walking base
Under the cork rests a lightweight synthetic sole with shallow traction ribs. It flexes as you step, keeping the slide quiet on hard floors and steady on stone walkways.
What we cut and last
Yellow brown suede brings an earthy warmth to this two-strap slide. We lasted the upper over our signature cork footbed, shaping the deep heel cup and arch contour to settle under the foot as the material softens with wear. Metal pin buckles let you reset the hold across both straps.
Caring for this upper
- Suede: Brush dry with a bristle block, never wet the nap.
- Give the cork footbed a week of short wear so it takes the imprint of your heel.

Reading before you choose
Closed toe or open toe across the catalogue
Every shoe we build begins with the same moulded cork footbed, but the first choice at the bench is the front of the upper.
How the moulded cork footbed takes shape
Our workshop builds every shoe on one moulded cork footbed across the catalogue.
The wider last and buckle adjustment
A shoe takes its internal volume and width directly from the solid form we build it over.
